So, our summer here has been pretty bad lately with all
the rain which is weird, but autumn is coming up and I thought what kind of
makeup looks good for autumn.
When I think of autumn, I think gloomy, rainy,
sometimes it can be sunny, just really unpredictable kind of weather.
So here are a couple of makeup tips for this autumn.
You want a foundation that stays put no matter what the
weather is, try Maybelline superstay makeup for 24hours (one of those
foundations that work well with any kind of weather)
Keep your eyes simple with 2 coats of black mascara (top
and bottom) and a wash of gold or copper eyeshadow across your top lid to make
those eyes pop. Opt for earthy tones with a shimmer of gold on your inner
corners. Always works when you want that little sparkle.
Lipstick lover? Opt for lighter shades of lipsticks like Revlon’s
Wink for Pink or Just enough buff. These colours are great for Autumn, they
give you that bit of colour without people staring at you like WOAH, that lip
colour is too strong for a dull day like today.

Powder blushes are great for autumn, you don’t want a
colour that is too strong, just something that looks fresh and gives your
cheeks a bit of colour. Try Shiseido’s accentuating powder blush in rosy beige
B2.
All in all play up your eyes more this autumn, you can’t
go wrong with just some mascara and simple eyeliner.
As for the hair, try some nice waves or a messy braid to
the side. My favourite though, bad hair day or not, you can’t go wrong with a
messy top knot. Casual yet sophisticated.
